    I recorded this track over the last year as a tribute to my father William, who passed in January 2021. While growing up my father sold dynamite and explosives to mines and construction sites all over the American West. At times I would join him on these adventures as a young and old kid as well.

    In particular, I remember that his CB handle was "Powderman" and he would often communicate with the truckers and let them know where the cops were hiding out. One day he was pulled over for speeding in Wyoming (I was not with him this time but relayed this story to me) and the cops realized they had pulled over "Powerman" that day and the fine was increased. Like he was their White Whale of some type.
