Disappointed We set the tone And take the reins Learn to live alone Steep erosion To start anew And see the blades that Cut right through And hoping I Hoping I'm Right this time ...To be Living Down Below I hear the ocean And feel it too Escape the maze To northern latitudes And set in motion Between the lines And see the Waves and days behind you And hoping I Hoping I'm Right this time And after all we won't be coming home ..To be Living Down Below
2.
As I walk the line The air and flames collide Is there time for us To retreat and hide All we loved is gone Burnt to the ground The years go on and on Before we hear a sound The air is hot and dry Destroy's the mountainside Is there time for us To release our pride? All we loved is gone Burnt to the ground The years go on and on Before we hear a sound The years go on and on Before we hear a sound
3.
I kept it going As you were leaving For far away Never knowing That restless feeling And words to say I lie in wait for I lie in wait for When you come back My minds erased A cloud of dust That dissipates And never be the same again The months are warming As you're returning I learned to pray Still I'm learning Am I deserving But still I pay I lie in wait for I lie in wait for When you come back My minds erased A cloud of dust That dissapates And never be the same again

Young Hollow 03:06
What did I see? Am apparition or A tragedy Young Hollow Passed us by And set us free And set us free And the southern route Sneaks between The hills and bluffs somehow The other side Speaks to us Often enough And even ships and sand Have sailed away Where solid ground Now stands Young Hollow Tell us why You disappear on Stormy nights And the Southern route Sneaks between The hills and bluffs somehow The other side Speaks to us Often enough
5.
It seems like every time That we think we know it Keep us in the dark Just to hide below And I'm Bleeding all over I let you all down Let you all down Plan it all before Set up everyone Sell it to the world We set the bar so low Reaping what we sew And I'm Bleeing all over I Left on the ground Running for cover I call you out I call you out I call you out I call you out
6.
I came alone But it won't be long Until I Find someone Who will Lead me on As I leave the plains in the distance And move along The generations Seem to have come and gone While this Southern town seems to stumble on As I leave the plains in the distance I don't belong Looking to the southern skies I dream of love that passes by And I can't wait until wintertime I pack my things and walk the line Three years on but I can't go back To the one I was Living in pitch black As I leave the plains in the distance And walk the tracks
7.
I'm on the edge With a way down to go You pulled me back With a way that few could know In the blinding light Take me under your wing Is there a moral That I have to learn Is there a way out Should I be concerned? I don't want To let you down But I'm on the way out It's all That I can offer you But I let you down And I can't believe that it's over It's over It's over and you know it But you wait You wait, You wait
8.
On the way home And all we needed Is a Back and Forth Take the wrong road In distant waves that Slowly faded Long may you run, you run Long may you run, you run Go our separate ways Down the valley Is a Back and Forth Nothing left to say In distant waves that Slowly faded Hesitation And reparations Down the lost highway Take the wrong road Desperation knows And leads us to fade and stray Long may you run, you run Long may you run, you run Long may you run, you run
9.
Eye to Eye 01:50
The day we woke As I misspoke And find ourselves on the other side We don't see Eye to Eye It seems It's treacherous The thoughts of us And how the waves fade into the tide We don't see Eye to Eye Invisible To all that left behind Behind
10.
HillTop 03:44
On the upside It came and went The world we knew Down below us Hold on To emptiness And I can't put My finger on it Walk by yourself It's time to go Walk by yourself It's time to go If you open up There's something more Reframe your brain to live again Move on It's waiting there To make the rain Disappear Walk by yourself It's time to go Walk on your own And you will know You are enough But lost so much That day Your love is gone So learn to leave the pain You were the one to fall The one to fall And you know it

about

This album is a culmination of songs written during many years of continuous transition, as new life directions bring learning and gradual realities to light.

With personal losses in life, we are also presented with new opportunities and new situations. These songs represent a way to tell some of these stories over the last several years.

about

Nathan Cahoone Denver, Colorado

I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and developed a love of music at an early age, especially through my mom Judy's eclectic mix of records and musical tastes. Both of my sisters (Sera and Kal) are great musicians and helped instill for me the love of music.

This is dedicated to my family and love them much.
